The Cottars 1920 Safari Camp is one of the most luxurious camps in the Masai Mara.

As the name would suggest, the camp carefully recreates the decadence of the 1920’s, complete with eight white canvas tents (the camp can accommodate up to sixteen guests in seven doubles and one honeymoon/family suite), en-suite dressing rooms and bathrooms, and luxurious 1920s safari antiques throughout. The bathrooms have plush old-fashioned showers and flushing toilets.

The camp is located in an exclusive concession in the Masai Mara, bordering the Serengeti and Loliondo reserves. Guided walks are a speciality here, providing the best way of getting up close to the wildlife. Guests can also enjoy river or pool swimming, fishing, bush meals, sundowners and professional massage.
