Doro Nawas Camp, rated as a Vintage Wilderness Camp, is situated on a dramatic rocky outcrop in the ruggedly beautiful Damaraland area.

Guests are housed in 16 elegant rooms, which combine natural stone and canvas walls with wood and glass doors, shaded by a thatch roof. The design and décor blends into the surrounding scenery, with attention to comfort and luxury in these arid desert conditions. The bedroom leads to a verandah with outdoor shower, an en-suite bathroom with additional shower and his and her basins. Al fresco dining in the main building can be taken on the roof-top which overlooks the courtyard pool area and river valley. It is a perfect spot for a relaxing sundowner. Wildlife viewing concentrates on the game found in the riverbed where the rare desert elephants can be seen. Another highlight is the fascinating expedition to nearby Twyfelfontein, home to some of the most renowned San art engravings in Namibia.
