A member of Safari Houses of Africa, Luangwa Safari House was designed by architect Neil Rocher (who also designed Chongwe River House). It is a truly stunning building whose super-structure is 25 ancient leadwood trees.
The dining table sits at the heart of this castle-like house, with the pretty thatch ceiling soaring 12 metres overhead. Let the animals come to you: the house is built on the edge of a seasonal lagoon and is frequented by elephant and giraffe, which saunter by against a backdrop of the Chindeni Hills.
