A Classic Wilderness Camp situated on the southern boundary of Etosha National Park, Ongava Lodge comprises 12 air-conditioned brick, rock and thatch chalets, each with en-suite facilities.
The chalets exude luxury, with sweeping wooden floors, local artwork and pitched timber roofs. The lodge has been built so that there are impressive views from the main lodge, pub and dining areas. Guests can track rhino on foot, or set off on a game drive to view elephant, lion, black rhino, springbok, gemsbok, hartebeest, leopard and cheetah. Birdlife is outstanding with white-tailed shrike, short-toed rock thrush, Hartlaub’s franklin and an abundance of reptiles. Ongava Lodge has been listed on the Condé Naste Traveller Gold Reserve List. |
