Sasakwa Lodge, a Singita property and a member of the Relais & Chateaux group, is situated on top of Sasakwa Hill, adjacent to the Western Corridor of the Serengeti. The property is built in the style of a turn-of-the-century east African ranch house, and every effort has been made to celebrate the spectacular views of the Serengeti plains below.

The lodge boasts the elegant feel of a gentlemen’s club, with interiors that celebrate the colours of the bush, contrasted with fantastic Venetian mirrors and crystal chandeliers. Sweeping verandahs, antiques, works of art, and beautiful drawing rooms, reflect exceptional style. Enjoy the fine cuisine in the beautiful dining room surrounded by silver candelabras, Stuart crystal and Wedgewood china. A unique facility of the lodge is a spa featuring a steam room, relaxation area, hydrotherapy, gymnasium, yoga room, and two therapy rooms for treatments. Should you wish to have your spa treatments in the privacy of your own room, the staff will happily arrange this for you.

The seven luxurious cottages offer one to four bedrooms, all en-suite with bath, shower and dressing room. Each cottage has a guest toilet, private living room, verandah with Swarovski spotting scope, garden and heated infinity pool with jacuzzi. Open lodge areas also have; bar, lounge, games room (with satellite TV, DVD player, Playstation, board games), billiards room, library, well-stocked wine cellar and garden room that opens onto a wide wrap-around verandah.
